Hello everyone. My name is Drew, and if you read my previous posts tonight you know I joined today, at least the web site said so. I thought maybe I'd say hi and tell a little about myself, if I make the meetings I'll probably be quiet at first, lol

I got into herps in the Army, I started out with Burmese pythons, eventually bred them, and tried to make a living doing so. That didn't work out as planned, so I moved back home to NJ and got a real job. Along the way I have kept, maintained and bred some facinating reptiles, from the giant boids to Old World chameleons. It has been a great ride so far, and now I am starting to get interested in the scientific aspect, and starting to get serious about conservation as well. I have been trying to give back to herps through the DFW's volunteer programs to no avail, and recently met Rachel through a mailing list about snakes. She pointed me here and the rest will soon be history. Looking forward to meeting everyone, seeing their stuff. I am currently keeping ony a leopard gecko, but just completed 2 chameleon cages, I guess I fell off the wagon, lol
Anyway, I guess thats good for now, if anyone feels the need to say hello, you can reach me here or through my email seaducer9@comcast.net
Cheerio,
Drew
