the last i heard, anaconds had been added to the NJ potentially dangerous species list. depending on who you get your permit processed by, you probably might have been able to get away with adding a false water cobra or a mangrove snake, as there is a sever lack of communication between various departments in fish and wildlife. the people that set the rules often dont communicate with the people that enforce them. as far as i know, the addition of anacondas as potentially dangerous species has not been ammended, but i could always be wrong.
