Hello, and welcome to the New Jersey Herp Society's Kingsnake.com Forum! This is a public forum for anyone with an interest in herping in the great state of New Jersey. We welcome everyone to post messages, ask questions, and show an interest in our state and it's only reptile and amphibian society.
Here's a little background on the society:
The NJHS is a nonprofit society dedicated to the advancement of reptile and amphibian keeping and breeding in the state of New Jersey. The society was formed in 1998 to assist the residents of New Jersey with any and all aspects of reptile and amphibian keeping. The society is open to anyone with an interest in reptiles and amphibians and although the society is geared to the needs of the New Jersey Herper, we welcome residents of other states. We stress total compliance with all New Jersey State laws regarding the keeping of reptiles and amphibians and ask that our members do the same. The society offers its members a monthly newsletter detailing society happenings, New Jersey and world herp related news, legislative issues related to the herp industry and you, and more. Members enjoy being part of NJHS events such as meetings, educational events, field trips, and reduced rates at NJHS sponsor establishments. Meetings are held bimonthly and have guest speakers.
If you have any questions about the society, please visit our webpage at www.cnjhs.com or contact us by phone at (732) 863-5943.
I'd like to thank Kingsnake.com for allowing us to have a forum on the best herp site on the Internet.
Thank you and have a great 2001!
