Common garter snake- December 8th

My dad said that while he was walking the dogs today in the rain he saw a 2ft common garter trying to bask. The warm temps have bought all sorts of herps out. He said that it wasn't moving at all except for when it occasionally writhed around a bit. The cold temps were obviously having a huge impact on this animals ability to escape. Woow, december 8th and the snakes are still out!~GECSOS
