We'd had 2 iguanas before that went their various ways when I saw an ad for this male (?). We've had him for about 8 months - he's supposed to be about 2 1/2 years old, but the people we got him from weren't keeping him warm enough so he was very slow & not very big for his age. Very personable and healthy looking though. We got him up to temp and feed him like he should be. He's shed twice completely since we got him and is starting to again. The last couple of weeks with Christmas & everything he hasn't gotten much attention, although we noticed he was laying around a lot and seemed to be gaining weight.

This morning Roy's laying eggs!!!!. Antoinette (new name) appears to be healthy, keeps going into water & possibly trying to rub her belly on the edge of the pool. She laid 2 at first then went & laid down & went back & laid 2 more. She rested a while & then went back to the pool again. It's been about 3 hours since she laid the first one.

How many eggs is she going to lay and how do I know if they all come out?

Anybody out there?
