I really like that idea. Maybe you could send me the sheet you make up and I can
post it on the web page so everyone can use it. I think things like that will help
people get motivated.

This is why we have every state speak for themselves ... so many talented people. Keep
up the good work Deena!!

: Hi All!

: It's been a while since I visited this forum, so I had to play catch-up! No wonder the NIAD mailing list has been so quiet! Everyone is posting here instead. Now that I know this, I will have to start checking more often.

: Anyhow, I just wanted to share that I am going to visit the local kindergarten classes next Thursday with my igs. I have never done this before, so I am quite nervous about how my igs will behave (or not). Thankfully, my work-study student is coming with me to help out. I can't get real technical, of course, but I plan to let the kids know about the fact that igs are vegetarians, that they need real sunlight and that they get very big (like mine). I am also writing a little sheet with iguana facts (where I live, why I am called "Giant Green Iguana", what I eat, why I have to go out in the sun, etc.) for them. I am putting a picture of an iguana on the other side for them to color, so I am hoping that they'll bring this little sheet home and show it to Mom and Dad. I'm trying to prevent the "Let's get Junior an ig for Christmas" syndrome here.

: Wish us luck!

: Deena
