Newt got problem?

The newt will be OK on dirt or on damp paper towels. If you try betadine, yes, use a q-tip only. BTW, Neosporin is available in every grocery store and discount store (assuming you are in the US). But if you have a fungal infection, it won't help. Is the whole mouth swollen? That is a bad sign.
