Im reading some controversy on feeding mealworms..because of their hard exo skeleton. My paddletail newt Flame (ive had him for almost 2 years, and he was full size when i got him) around 7"inch STL . he eats mostly guppies or minnows, mealworms, crickets, and earthworms. also he gets moths, moth larvae, bloodworms, tubifex worms, and whatever other little treat i can find. hes never had a problem with mealworms, any bad or good experiences anyone want to share?
Hes a cute little guy..its about time I get some more tanks and newts I think.. =)
