:My pair has been showed breeding activity from mid-Feb through most of March. I never witnessed actual copulation so I don't know when fertilization took place. I would love to compile info with you however. Mat I ask what kind of caging you're using for your Mangroves?

: Right now they're in a 40 gal.aquarium w/cypress mulch substrate. I had a shoe box I was using for water and feeding but one female stayed in an awful lot, and began to show a blister or 2. Now I only put a small water dish in during the week and on feeding day I'll put in the shoebox. I just may do away with it all together though, since I can hand feed all of 'em. I'll seperate the sexes too off and on. When I re-introduce them, they always mate again. I was unsure if they "needed" to be in or near water for this, but since I found some of these snakes mating in a tree, I figured they didn't! 3 of 4 females are getting a bit heavier. I'm feeding them sheepshead minnows and "chubs" from the same waters near where I found them. Basically a brackish/salt mangrove shoreline habitat.
