Fresh fish, no matter where you get them from for your snakes or yourself pose the same POTENTIAL risk. If you see anything obvious that would cause you not to eat it yourself don't offer it to your snakes. Otherwise, no problem! Besides, fish bugs won't necessarily bother water snakes. On top of this, you can get deworming medicine from a vet as tapeworms will likely be the most likely problem IF there's any at all! And you'd see these or bits of them in the snakes stool (in the water dish).
All in all, keeping the snakes' terrarium clean will usually break the cycle of any parasites that may present themselves anyway. Remember, NOTHING you eat or offer to your pets is guaranteed bug free. So relax and enjoy.
