Thanks man, this really helps, I've been worried about this forever. I know with Garters say if you just feed them worms you get probs. And I was concerned something similiar would go wrong with the Waters. Also, what is your prefered substrate for Water Snakes? I've tried paper towels, those green carpet like mats, and Aspen, and of the three it seems to like the Aspen the most. He hides in it and all. Theres not a strong scent at all, and on the package it says its ok for herps to ingest it in small quantities. Is it ok for him?

Thanks, Seth
