i live in western new york,,,and when i go fishing to this one stream where it has a real steep bed and rocky ledges i find what i hope are water snakes fairly often,,,i believe they are northern water snakes,,,thick most of the time banded and very agressive,,,cant even come close to picking one up. well let me know if you think they are northern water snakes..
