It shouldn't take more than half an hour or so for them to shed. If they're disturbed half way through the process it could take them a while to feel comfortable enough to resume. Remember, it should all come off in one piece and if he doesen't shed it all off by tommorrow, I'd soak him in room temp water and perhaps peel off the skin manually.
