That book really sounds great... looking forward to getting a copy when it appear.

:As some of you may or may not know, Dr. Michael Dorcas (a herpetologist here at Davidson), has been co-authoring a Nerodia/Regina/Seminatrix book of monstrous proportions over the last few years. He and Dr. Whit Gibbons (UGA) have finally completed it! Unfortunately, it's still going to be a year before it's printed but I thought I'd give you an update.

:I got a little sneak-peek and never before have I seen such a thorough book. County-level distribution maps and maps showing number of species per county are just a few of the treats in store. I know I can't wait until I get a final copy in my hands!
