My watersnake is born in captivity....During the day he spend long hours on a branch basking, he almost never hide. I suspect that he is quite active during the night, because he often eat during the night. The temp of my enclosure is about 83-84 on the hotter part and 78 cooler side...at night it comes down to 70. Are the temp ok ?
