:Depends. I have caught adult nerodia that were somewhat tame and babies that bite and musk like hell. I have one broadband that has never attempted to bite or musk ever though. On the other hand, I have a diamondback baby that a friend brought to me at 5 or so inches and it jumps to bite me. Andy
