:any one else notice wether or not the snakes had leasions from the salt causing blisters? every mangrove watersnake I've ever cought had blisters and sores from the salt water. is this a common occurence?
: I've caught many over the years and have not noticed any lesions on any. I doubt the salt is the main culprit. I used to keep many from the ordinary green/brown to bright orange to ruby red and can't recall too many skin problems. Captives kept too damp will develop them. Where did you find those?
