Cool find on the erythrogaster, even if you did smoosh it. Hope the little guy pulls through.
Cottonmouths are fun, aren't they? I've had them swim right up to within 3 feet of my canoe and stare me down, not because they're being aggressive but because they're simply curious. There is not much that can harm a 4 foot cottonmouth and they act like they know it.
When are you gonna show us some pics, huh!? I want to see all these cool Texas Nerodia!
