Sommige hobbyisten importeren zelf dus hier heb je keus uit. Verder hoef je helemaal niet de bij de importeurs zelf te zijn. De dieren/ reptielenspeciaalzaken kopen hier hun dieren om zo door te verkopen. Kortom importeurs leveren aan detailist, en de detailist weer aan de consument. Vraag eens of ze het dier kunnen bestellen. Veel winkels hebben er vrij weinig aan om aparte schildpadden in hun "assortiment" op te nemen, om vervolgens pas na enkele maanden te verkopen. NU draai je op dieren als absoluut geen winst of het moet erin en eruit gaan, dus vandaar dat je het gewoon via zo'n weg moet proberen. Winkels zat die het zo doen.
