2 weken niet eten is op zich geen enkel probleem.

Ik zou je zeker willen adviseren om dode prooi te voeren ivm de mogelijkheid dat een levende muis je slang kan verwonden (tong eraf etc). Dode prooi is bovendien makkelijker op voorraad te houden dan levende.

Wat is de temperatuur van de bak, is er een goede schuilplaats aanwezig en is er een spot waar de slang zich goed kan opwarmen?
