Leen,

Winterrust is niet noodzakelijk maar aan te raden als je er mee wil gaan kweken. Zonder overwintering groeien ze sneller en worden ze uiteindelijk ook groter.

Je kunt een dergelijke slang best elke dag even uit de bak halen als je dat zou willen, maar doe dat niet als ze net gegeten heeft (ivm stress waardoor prooi weer uitgebraakt kan worden).

Het uitspuwen of braken van prooi kan ook andere oorzaken hebben.
