Mountain Horned Newbie, info wanted

Thanks for the info I have gathered already from reading old posting thought it was about time I got some direct answers.

We got "Beckham" about ten days ago from a local pet shop that looks like it specialises in reptiles. First few days he/she was not to active but did eat and poop, I have just brought a waterfall for the corner of the tank as I did not know they needed running water. Have not seem him drink from it yet, but we spray the whole tank twice a day. He is a bit lazy and will let crickets run around his tank for days, but will eat if we hold them above him.

Few questions, is the above behaviour normal? How would we know if it is male or female? We have gave him a bath, how often if at all should we do this?
Any more info is appreciated, personality, traits....
