Wow! That is a problem. I raise my own mealworms but you need some now so you don't have time to go through the process. Are there any reptile clubs in your area? If so you may be able to find someone who raises their own feeders that would be willing to help you out.
You may also want to check http://www.mulberryfarms.com/ and see if they can ship to Canada. They sell silk worm eggs so shipping weight should be low and maybe that would help keep costs down. It takes 3 or 4 days for the eggs to hatch and they grow pretty quickly. You could be feeding them to your babies within a week to 10 days. The problem with this is that you get 1000 baby worms at one time and when they get to big for you babies you lose them unless you have other insect eating reptiles.
Also, check you local tropical fish shops and see if any carry small live feeder stuff like bloodworms, tubifex worms, and/or teeny tiny red wigglers that would be small enough for the babies.
I wish you luck. I know it usually takes 10-14 days for ground mail when I make purchases so I hope you can find someplace up there or one that can get them to you quickly.
