It's not unusual for a female to arrive gravid. I have been told that in the close confinment and stress during shipping that they will mate while being shipped or processed. It is possible that she may have stopped digging and will get back to it later. However, if she remains fat and you can feel the eggs I wouldn't let her go too long as there is some risk of becoming egg bound. I would keep a close watch on her and if she begins laying on the ground most of the time then you can figure she is having problems. If she is somewhat active then she is probably OK. I would check her tummy again to see if you can still feel the eggs, if not then dig around to see if she layed them when you weren't watching! I lost one of the 5 cluches laid this last season that way. By the time I found them they were all hard and caved in.

Good luck with her and I hope she has or will lay soon.
