Hi there,i live in the uk and we too had petsmart's up and down the country until last year that is,when they were sued and banned from trading for severe cruelty to animals.diseased mice,rabbit's and goldfish were fed to reptiles-live and some stores were even proven to be using rodents as footballs.I spoke to some staff at my local store about a burmese python being sold as an adult boa and their "EXPERT" reptile keepers kindly informed that this 6" snake would not get any bigger and that it was hand tame(i noted that there was no heating in the viv)and would comfortably live on 2 chicks a week and survive up to 2 years without food but would look a little skinny anyway my point in all this is that these superpetstores are out to make the quick buck by any means necessary so i say boycott the m0t*ERFU(K**S.Sorry it just gets my back up ,we call it PETCEMETARY not petsmart.

:They had a MHD, and man was it bad looking. Many of its spikes were gone, plus it had little...sores and cuts all over it. Plus its in this little cage. I'm sure its really sick-the other male it had came with had died after a day of being there. Another thing was-it was 40 dollars, and they told me it was captive bred but shipped to a distributer then to them. If that was captive bred, i'd be very, very suprised.
:It makes me sick seeing the way the reptiles are treated at places like that
