These tiny little gals can lay anywhere from 9-18 eggs per clutch. You can see why they don't eat the last few days, where would they put it ; )
I have even had females lay 20 and one time 21 eggs at one time. The average seems to be more in the 12-16 range. If this is her first ever clutch it could be smaller, maybe 9 or 10 but there is no hard fast rule and just like any mom each one is different. My record clutch of 21 was from a first time mother.

Also, they seem to like to dig under rocks or logs or against corners or bases of vertical branches. She if probably working on her nest and our next post from you will probably be an egg count; )
