Hi!
Congrats! You have a pretty lizard and an awesome attitude!
The search box here is a great start. Try it and you will see. Try "dirt" and "substrate" to start. Go to the beginning of each thread by clicking on the blue subject line until you get to the start. Then read all the entries. Do this for all 100 entries.

For your trouble, you will be more confused than ever. This is good. The question of dirt has been talked about a lot, people have many different opinions on it, and there is no quick way to describe "good" dirt. The more you read, the more you will IGNORE people and look to your animal for the answer. People can gab all they want, but only your sav knows what is good. But please read first, because you have to understand it in order to let HER try the dirt and tell you if its good.

Feeding is another debate. Read about that one too. Wonder too, about the writer of the posts. Where is their lizard now? Did it get real fat and die young? Fat is not healthy, fat means a lot of things could be wrong, and not just the food.

Look to your animal. Have fun with her. Good luck. D.
