My story isn't as glamorous as yours. Dragoon was the name of my imaginary black stallion as a kid. *goes red*
Well, I moved a LOT, three different schools in Grade one alone, and didn't have many friends, and wasn't allowed any pets so...I read a lot. I wore out the copies of the Black Stallion, Big Red, Old Yeller, White Fang, Watership Down and King of the Grizzlies I have. There were many others.
Not sure where I picked up on that word as a kid. I thought I had invented it. I learned later it means a cavalryman. That's an OK defintion by me. =)
