I use Melamine which is a plastic like print over particle board with wood grains or plain colors. the coating is pretty tuff, but after a few years of clawing it may start to wear. it generally run from 20$ to 40$ dollars a sheet.
::What are you looking at building, because we spent less than $100 building our wooden enclosure for our 3 1/2 Sav. 6'Lx41/2'Hx3'W with a mesh front.
:I'm thinking about about 6'Lx3'Hx3'W My dad is in the metal fabracation bussiness and can make a nice frame for it for next to nothingso all I really need is a good attractive material for the sides and acrylic plexiglass for the front.
