I say if you can afford it then go with real glass that is appx 1/4 in thick so in case you bump into it with something or the lizard whacks his tail chances are decreased if it breaks. If you are going to go the plexy route like I did then go with the Lucite plexy glass. It stands behind it ability to be 100X stronger than glass. Which I can say this glass has had it share of large monitor beatings. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it tends to scratch easily. So just keep rocks and the sort further away. Mine has a few light scratches but still looks pretty good. Here is the cage if it is the right picture and is remodelled with different and a wider variety of fake plants.
