:Hi
:I recently went through the same dilemma, and kinda solved it by having a cage built incorporating a very large plastic tub.
:The cage itself is 6 feet long by 3feet high and 30 inches deep,
:but i managed to find a tub approx 4 feet by 2 and approx 12 inches deep.
:The idea is to have a hole cut in to the base of the cage, and sit the tubs lip at floor level, which stops the wooden cage from rotting, and gives the Ackies a moist place to dig, and lay eggs.
:I hope to get the thing delivered and will post a pic when it arrives.
:Good luck
:ian
