The 3' x 6' foot part is already built and sits enclosed between the supports of a rack holding two levels of 3' x 6' long Vision cages above it. I could scrap it and start over with a new cage and support rack, making the bottom level deeper, but I didn't want to pull the whole system down if the 1' of depth didn't make that big a difference to the lizard, or if the dimensions fell far short of comfortably housing the lizard. Since this is in our living room, I don't really have the space to go with more than an extra foot of depth. Of course, I'm still eyeing that 10' x 12' sunroom.
