They would be a great source of food. There are millions of cats and puppies in animal shelters that are only going to end up being euthanized and disposed of. It would do the human societies and the reptiles a favor by feeding them off.

Think about what a great source of food that would be!

Unfortunately, reptiles are viewed bad enough already, and feeding kittens would only make the general population frown on them even more.

Besides that, how would you kill them without drugs that would harm the lizard eating them?
