:i caught my first Eastern Milk today!!! i was so excited. i got in my car and ran to tell my girlfriend, but then i saw an Eastern Garter someone had just hit. i stopped and got it. it was still breathing and moving around, but it didn't make it. one minute i was so pumped up and then i felt like crying. i live in Bedford County, Virginia. anybody have any luck with wild Eastern Milks? i want to keep it, but if it doesn't eat i'll have to let it go. what's the best thing to try and feed it? how long should i wait before feeding it? thanks for the advice and enjoy the pic!
I have kept numerous wild caught easterns.Try feeding live fuzzies. The ones I kept would never eat anything bigger than fuzzies, but would eat 4 or 5 of them at a time.Good luck.
