I posted earlier (see "Gravid") but didn't get any response but I got my answer
today as my Pueblan laid 6 very large very healthy eggs today. I received her earlier
this year while she was still in cooling cycle. I warmed her up and waited for her to shed
for the first time. I noticed that she was much fatter than my other females. She would not eat after sheding and
would have nothing to do with mating. I suspected that she was gravid but was unsure because she had not bred while in my care.
So, in short it is very possible for a Peublan to hold sperm for at least 6 months.
Just thought everyone would like to know.
