Sounds like your on your way! if the female excepts, she's ready! I would go ahead and put a nest hide box with some moist spahgnum moss in the cage. You will start to see her swell up as the eggs begin to develop inside her. The next shed should be a pre-egg shed and expect eggs approx. 10-12 days after.
Good Luck

:oops - I put my hondurans together early to observe their reaction to each other ( after the females 1st shed ) even though I planned on waiting for her second shed. Well I got a reaction - they bred. How can I tell if the female is ready to breed? I mean if she's ready for egg production or if the males just forcing himself on her. I cannot feel any folicles yet but she accepts the male every time. How long until
:she will begin to gain weight as an indication of being gravid?
:Once she does put on some weight will the fact that she started early increase the chances of her having a infertile or unhealthy clutch? also do you think she will breed long enough ( if I feed her alot - to force the 2nd shed) to get her to breed some more after the 2nd shed?
:Thanks for the info
