:6 mo ago I bought a tang honduran male to breed with my tang female because my male tricolor was to small. I cooled them both 2 months warmed them and after my females 1st shed I put them together ( not expecting anything untill after her second shed but I just wanted to try) nothing!!!
:So I put my 32" tricolor male in with her just to see what would happen ( observe how they interact ) ( he wasnt even cooled)
:and wham. They have mated once and I will put them together again in a couple of days. (2) questions what type of offspring am I likely to have tricolor or tangerine? and can I put the tangerine male in there instead of the tricolor to see if maybe shes warmed up now?
:She sure seemed to get along with the tricolor better ( same temperment)
:Thanks Chris
Hondurans are variable snakes as far as color goes. You could get all of either type or a combination of both. I've bred tang. to tang. and gotten some tri-colors.
