i think they would definitely appreciate more room when they are adults. A baby can be kept in a 10 gallon for a few months or more. I heard they can max out at 6 feet, although I have one adult rescue who might get to 3 feet, if he keeps growing. Then i have another male who is about 3 years old or so that I have had since he was a baby who very well might get to 5 feet soon. Mine tend to be great feeders, which is what I have heard about most of them. I feed frozen/thawed mice once a week to mine.
