::hey i live in rochester new york,,,i know its early yet but spring is on its way here,,,when it warms up a bit when should i be looking for eastern milks and where? at night? morning? day? also what would be the best habitat? i found one 5 years back in my garage,,it was a hatchling aprox 10 inches long,,it was dead,,,so there should be adults in teh area somewhere right?

:
:I live in NY also, in oswego county, and find most of my Eastern milks under some tin I set out by some farms, I usually don't see them until the weather gets nicer like high 60's for a few days at least, they live in all kinds of areas Iv'e seen them in fields, woods, dumps, good luck looking for them keep us informed

I live in Fulton county close to albany and was wondering how hard is it to get your DEC permit to collect in NY.I got the application was just wondering what would make it easier.I do plan on donating to schools and to do showing and to the local boyscouts. Also do either of you have any pictures of them.THANKS,P-RAT
