If so, watch your cats reaction when lights go out, that is when your snake will most likely be on the prowl. Felines have a way of hearing the most minute noise and will clue you in on where to look!

Don't despair, I've had a baby hondo escaped shortly after hatching, surviving our Canadian winter and found 10 months later, in relatively good shape...

He should turn, be patient...
