chances are you snake will turn up. I have had a few snakes escape over the last 20 years or so (always due to my stupidity!) and have almost always found them again. I usually find them creeping around the house at night somewhere.

My male black milk (~4 feet at the time) escaped last winter and I didn't find him for 2 months. He escaped in the snake room at the back of the house, then I found him in the same room 2 months later. However, when doing some kitchen work, I found a shed skin of a black milk behind my dishwasher at the front of the house! Seems he had quite the little tour!

Look around at night with a flashlight, particularly in closets and other dark places. You will probably find him.
