:Hello,
:Has anybody ever had luck with breeding WC eastern milks? Any help would be appreciated.
:N. Grillo
I have bred WC Easterns many times with no problems. For me the key is to find yourself a pair that feeds well soon after capture. I always released any animal that did not feed within the first 3 weeks. All my best breeders fed within days after capture, and for some strainge reason they were all orange or red phase animals. I never had luck with the normal brown phase even though they came from the same locality. I also breed African Pigmy mice for their very small pinkies. My babies have always started eating these with very few exceptions. Good luck,
Jack
