You can hope for a cold winter. Or use air conditioning. it's hard to set up, requires a good balance of small room, big a/c, venting, etc., etc. I tlaked to a guy the other day in calif. who has a $600 floor unit, says he keeps his good-sized room 60-65, and that should be adequate.

For kings from south florida, your ambient temps should be fine, of course, since the animals in the wild experience the same thing and i'm assuming they do fine, and breed even after very mild winters.
