Some people AC a room, others just put them on a tile floor. I wrapped cardboard around some shelves in my garage to block the light. When it dropped too much at night I plugged in some UTH's which just warmed up the enclosed area.
They did quite well, several of my snakes gained a couple grams. Most lost just a few but all look quite well & thick. I'll see how they do when it come to fertility when they are ready.
Some may cringe on how I did it because of the temp fluctuations but I gave it a try & so far so good. I think the cardboard blocking all the light was a key factor in them not waking up too early because it did warm up quit a bit a few times.
