DO HONDURAN HATCHLINGS NEED THE SAME TEMP GRADIENT AS AN ADULT?
I have recently built a 10 box rack for my honduran hatchlings.
The shoe boxes are 13x7x4 and I have a flexwatt heat tape run vertically down the back wall of the rack.
I have been testing it out and I can get the temps on the top rack to 86 deg F on the warm end and 83 deg F on the cool
and on the bottom rack the temp is 82 deg F on the warm end to about 78/79 deg on the cool side. the remaining tubs are somewhere in the middle of those temp ranges. IS this acceptable for honduran youngsters in terms of temps?
I can drill holes for more ventilation if the top or bottom racks are to hot or cold ect.
Thanks for the help chris
