A couple months back, I was discussing honduran growth rates with "Pondoris", aka Ian. He had his hondurans up to 26" at 11 weeks of age! (they're probably 4' long by now, hehe) Here was his feeding method:
---
they started at a pinkie every 3-5 days
then I moved it to a pinkie every 3 days
recently I was feeding a pinkie every other day
but the first time I tried a rat pup they took them like candy
so now a rat pup every 4 days
---
1 meal a week may be appropriate for adult snakes, but most people feed hatchlings/yearlings more. I'm sure you could safely feed your honduran a 2-3 pinkies a week and see better growth.

:Hey folks. After seeing some recent photos of '01 and '02 Hondurans on here, I've got to say.. my snakes are nowhere near that big! How ofthen (and how large a prey item) are you all feeding your snakes? My snakes will generally eat at least once a week, sometimes more, but my animals are a fraction of the size of some of the yearlings I've seen on here. I hope to upload pics soon. Comments?
