:I think it's interesting that it's occurred in elaphe and pituophis, if my information is correct--has it occurred on any kings? other colubrids?
:a lot of morphs, like anerythrism, amelanism, etc., occur in many different species. Is the white-sided form one that's appeared in multiple species? has it occurred often enough that it's fair to speculate it might someday pop up on a king, too? on the other hand, are there any morphs anyone can think of that have occurred in ONLY one species or subspecies?
