The best book I know for Kuwait is the book -Middle East Amphibians and Reptiles, by Alan E. Leviton, Steven C. Anderson, Kraig Adler, and Sherman A. Minton. 1992. SSAR Contributions to herpetology Volume 8.
It can be ordered directly from SSAR.
It has nice photos of a lot of the species.

It is a good book and well worth the $30 price.
