: my son is now stationed in Kuwait along the Iraqui border and has vaarious types of snakes and lizards. I was interested in finding out what they were, etc. If you can direct me to a site or book with Kuwait reptiles THANkS!
I was deployed to Kuwait last year from Feb-July. While I was there I bought a good book Titled "Discovering Kuwaits Wildlife" It has some good info on most of the snakes there. While I was there I saw about 30 False-Horned Vipers, 3 Awl Headed snakes, 1 Black Desert Cobra, 2 Rear Fanged Snakes that I can't remember their name right now and 2 Sand Boas.
I also saw about 7 species of lizards there also
