: What venomous snakes may be found in Turkey?
I guess,
Vipera ammodytes
Vipera kaznakovi
Vipera ursinii
Vipera belus (in european section)
Vipera xantina
Vipera lebetina
Vipera aspis (may be?)
are the venomuous snakes of Turkey.
There is many venomous species from colubridae (such as malpolon and telescopus) familiy, but usually they have not real fangs and cannot inject their venom to human.
